2 year agoBetter look at the dune erosion by Nicole. This is Jacksonville Beach. However, the berm held & did it's job in this area and kept water away from the roads. Expect lots of debris in the water in the following days.

2 year agoWinter Haven Police are on the scene of an officer involved shooting. While they're not releasing much info yet, they say officers are ok & that the suspect, Jason Pickles, was shot but in custody. He has an extensive, violent criminal history dating back to 2002.

2 year agocrews in action restoring power. Power is out at Casuarina & Ocean Blvd. in Delray Beach. Told it will be restored before storm hits. The site manager says this is when pre-deployed crews/trucks ahead of storm make a difference.
