2 year agoPolice are investigating a fatal shooting after being called to the 500 block of Frayne St. A male gunshot victim fled the area in a vehicle that came to a stop on the Homestead Bridge. EMS transported him to the hospital where he later died.
2 year agoThe SWFD Fire Marshal responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. The fire was ruled accidental in nature, originating in the kitchen. The sprinkler system within the restaurant, Two Birds Coffee and Cafe, kept the fire contained before SWFD crews arrived

2 year agoJSO says 6 teens in a car were shot at. One was killed, 4 were hurt & one remained on scene to answer questions. Police say victims were teens (17 & 18-year-olds). Police are looking for a silver vehicle
2 year agoThere is a very heavy law enforcement presence out here. I counted more than a dozen JSO cruisers, a crime scene unit & investigators combing the street. @wjxt4's Sky4 captured a black car riddled with bullets in the middle of this road
2 year agoThis is the scene off Vernice & Starrat roads where multiple sources tell there was a shooting. JFRD says they got the call at 2:20 PM. We are told there were 5 victims- 1 died and 4 others were taken to the hospital. JSO and ATF are investigating
2 year agoThe fire trucks have left the scene but several JSO officers are still here at Starratt and Venice where there was a confirmed shooting with one death
Officers are on scene at Pines Lakes Elementary (10300 Johnson Street) school regarding a suspicious phone call. In an abundance of caution, school release has been slightly delayed as our officers investigate. There are no active threats on campus at this time

2 year agoThe City of Kissimmee Police SWAT team seized 4.5 grams of crack cocaine, over 40 grams of cannabis, a loaded handgun with an extended magazine, and over $7,500 cash. Thanks to them and their hard work, these items will stay off the streets of Kissimmee.
